David A. Francis, DPM obtained his pre-medical education at the University of Michigan and Wayne State University. He enrolled at Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine and graduated Valedictorian of his class, receiving his degree of Doctor of Podiatric Medicine. After completion of a two-year surgical residency at Hillcrest Health Center, in Oklahoma City, he joined Green Country Podiatry Center in Tulsa. He remained at Green Country until the merger with Metro Tulsa Foot and Ankle Specialists in July 2015.

Dr. Francis is a Diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery.

While in residency, Dr. Francis completed research on Absorbable Internal Fixation Devices and completed courses on Neuro-Vascular Micro Surgery and Arthroscopic Surgery. He has lectured on a variety of topics, and was instrumental in setting up the foot clinic at the Tulsa Day Center for the Homeless in 2003.

Dr. Francis served as president of the Oklahoma Podiatric Medical Association from 1997-1999.
